Picture Books Recommendations

Picture books are a powerful tool in building early literacy skills. Whether your child enjoys the same picture book over and over again, or requests a different story every night, your child is absorbing new words and discovering the power of language.

There is no end to the wonderful selection of children's books available in libraries, online and at local bookshops. Most libraries have child friendly reading corners, incorporating both fiction and factual texts, for a range of reading ages and abilities.
